Charlotte Abrahams is a leading style and design writer. Having trained at Central St Martin’s (where she graduated with a BA Hons in fashion), she set out on a freelance writing career and over the past 18 years has written regular features, columns and profiles for the national press, including Guardian Weekend Magazine (where she had a weekly column, Style Slave, for 10 years), Financial Times How to Spend It, the Telegraph Magazine, Elle Decoration, Crafts and Living Etc.
Her first book, Wallpaper the Ultimate Guide - a 250-page, illustrated hardback encompassing the history of wallpaper, its contemporary position and a guide to how and where to use some of the most exciting papers the world has to offer – was published by Quadrille in October 2009.
Charlotte also curates the Spotted zone at Top Drawer Spring and Top Drawer Autumn and is regularly invited to give talks and sit on judging panels.
